| Subject: | Re: Dragons Ferdinand as detailed Review | |

Hi Neville (hope Carsten don't mind my translation),
this is in brief the end conclusion at the site :
The expetations with the Ferdinand were very high, but so is the price.
After the Marder3 by Tamiya I went on to the Ferdinand by Dragon.
The hatches are perfectly detailed, but no interior is at hands. Italeri has
given an example on how to add a simplefied interior with a kit with their
PzJager 1. Fitting at the front is not up to Dragon-standards as usual with
them. It's not bad but just not Dragon-like. The instructions are the big
minus in this kit, as they leave many details in question, wich makes it all
the more difficult for beginners. The upperhulldetail is just super. But at
some of the small parts details like woodgrain simply are not reproduced.
Why not ? A huge miss in the this kit like with the Elefant is the absence
of the big ever so present tow-cables. One should seek the aftermarket for
this like New Connection. All in all it's a fine solid model but not up to
the newtool of the Tamiya kits. Since it's not too difficult to build I
would recommended for beginners too.
Cheers,
Danny Raadtgever.
