To weather or not to weather? That is the question. Whether you do it or not? OK, enough play on words. It's a tough call. A friend of mine entered a kit last year at a contest and purposly did not weather it. He got "dinged" for not doing so, because it looked too clean.
On the other hand, I've over weathered something and it looked terrible.
I guess the way I usually try to approach weathering is in small stages. Doing a little at a time, taking a break and eye balling it
to see how it looks. You can always add more, but you can't take it off easily.
