My favorite one was when I went looking for a particular kit at my LHS. When I asked the guy about it he had no idea what I was talking about. I calmly gave him a description of the item (a lighting kit for the Lost in Space kit) and told him who made it. His reply was "Well, if you have a web site, we can order it for you" I replied "If I had the web site, I could order it myself" and left. Now the only reason I go to the LHS is to buy paint/glue and maybe some sheet stock.
