Hi Alan,

Be careful where you're focusing. Macro modes can have a very shallow depth of field and if the camera locked on to something other then what you intended, it can be a bit, or a lot, out of focus.

Even in this sample on DPRreview, you can see some objects in the foreground are a bit out of focus:

Nice thing about the digicam is you know right away whether or not its a good.

P.S. You digicam Macro has a range of 2" to 19".
