Hi Gazza,
I tend to disagree with what they mentioned. People nowadays play more computer games and spend less time or money on models? No way.
I remember when i was a kid, i had to beg my mother to buy me a AIRFIX plane or warship.... that of course had to come with cheap "tube" glue. i had to use watercolors to paint!
I am in my 30's now and boy i must say, do i spend a fortune on this models because i have bigger spending power because i am a working adult! expensive tamiya liquid glue, airbrush and etc......
Point here is; i don't see model makers (dragon) having such problems? Honestly, when i go to the hobby stores, AIRFIX models are the least desirable models i will look at... must be the packaging and the presentation of their boxes..... |
