The romans said in Latin: "de mortuis nil nisi bene". Tell only the good things about those who have passed away. In an earlier topic I stated that Airfix has failed to catch up with the latest developments in mould making and choice of subject. But we ought to be just. In their prime time Airfix produced kits which I will miss greatly in the future. Almost all of the 1/72 RAF lorries (including the Scammel tank transporter) are very well detailed and fun to build. Since cildhood I loved these little vehicles. And their 1/72 boats (german S-Boot, Vosper, RAF rescue boat) are still superb and at least equal to recent revell kits (they included even fine figures). So it's not only because of fond childhood memories that I will grieve the dead.
