I've found that when I paint the light colored plastic with a color that is similar in shade, say a desert scheme, its hard to tell if I've covered all the areas That I need to. I've also found with the dark plastic that if you use light coats of paint you don't have to preshade and you get some nice light to dark shading from the plastic. Just an opinion. I agree with the assembly being harder to see though, especially at age 56 when the eyes are starting to go. To Mike Bedard, do you still live in Wisc like I do and go to any contests?
