It was years and years ago. Mom was vacuuming my bedroom (odd since I usually did the vacuuming). She's short and got under the shelves holding dozens of models. Something happened and I heard a crash, ran into the room to find 2 shelves worth of models in a great heap on the wood floor. Lots of stuff irrepairable. I learned a lesson - just because it is the right height for you it might be too high (and out of sight) for someone else.
Nothing is displayed on shelves mounted to the walls - only in sturdy cabinets. |
