The poll makes a common oversight, most visiter to the site dip in to see what is the current topic,or flavour of the month. Many are modelers first and reseachers second,which may intimidate them in adding to discussions. The recent one on what was on peoples shelves, you guys could open Model shops, your average modeler may not have that amount of kits so would doubt the value of the contibution. , another reason may be that the bulk of us are not computer literate, ie we swithch em on and read em, downloading and @mailing err pass the paint pot.
I guess by the polls statistic I am a lurker
