I think getting previews or pre-release reviews of kits is only a GOOD thing. I bought the M2A1 based on some of the pre-release sprue shots I saw (well, OK, whom am I kidding? I bought it because its the first M2 in plastic!) and intend to buy the Tasca kit for the same reason (which is out of character for me, since I'm generally not a fan of WWII british equipment, it's fugly if you ask me... :P )
One thing I always find useful is a discussion on kit faults, which just as equally will sway me to either buy the kit, buy aftermarket to correct the kit, or just not bother. The M3 Lee is a perfect example (A-M suspension, though I don't neccessarily think this is critical) or the M3A1 from Academy (built as-is for the most part). I think a discussion on the merits and faults of kits is critical to those of us that may not have the time or inclination to research down to the last bolt, or lack the talent to do so...
