Without wishing to be too churlish, but while the programmes were interesting they were ultimately frustrating because only one of the four restorations were completed. The one that was finished was the M18, of the others the M4 was hardly started, the Comet about halfway and the Panthers perhaps 80-90% done.
The programmes were also spoilt (for me at least) by editing better suited to a pop video and the constant 'what is coming next' and 'story so far' resumes around each commercial break. It was perhaps half hour of content spread across an hour.
Other recent interesting programmes (in the UK) were 'Megafactories' on the Abrams re-manfacturing facilties in the US (shown on National Geographic) and the 'Inventions of War' series, one programme on the tank (shown on Channel 5).
