Not for vehicles, although again, I do like Ron's work and even the Tamiya box covers. I usually rely on reviews posted on the net, etc., to find out if I want the kit or not. Example: I was interested in the Academy Lee when announced, but when I see all the errors in the kit, it could have Picasso artwork on it and I would not buy it.
The exception is figures. For figures I will go by the artwork, though normally it's the subject matter or poses more so than the artwork itself.
