In Sydney Australia there are a number of Hobby Stores but my favourite is Avenue Hobbies in Chatswood. It is run by Barry, who is a modeller himself, and who remembers my name, mainly because I keep pestering him about new stock. He has pretty good website which is mostly up to date and he does a regular email to regular customers about new stock arriving etc..
Anyway, a little while ago he decided to discount everything and his prices are now the best in the country, I would say. He has a pretty good range across amour, ships and planes and a reasonable range of aftermarket too.
Everyone in Sydney who can get there should go and have a look. He also does ship around the country but I just love going into his little shop and looking at all the boxes and hopefully taking some home with me.
