When you look at how much plastic is left over, when you finish a model, such as sprues etc, it does look like a waste. To me it seems like there is as much if not more plastic left over at the end of a build than there was at the start! But, as far as I'm aware, styrene can be very easily recycled by chopping up and bunging back through the moulding process. Maybe we can extend modelling for a very long time by sending all the left over styrene back to be made into new models. Hey the modelling companies could even put a prepaid envelope in every box to help us.
