Personaly I have no problem with any scale armor offerings.I also enjoy non armor "support" items such as trucks ,dozers and various engineer vehicles.While I would hope that the main theme of the site remains with Tanks,it's good to see some of the other things that people are working on.Artilery-spotter Aircraft,helicopters etc. are all fair game,especialy if presented in a diorama/vignette format.
I like a little seasoning with my daily bread,and as long as it has a close military connection to ground warfare I have no objections.
Ancient Elephant corps and chariots have their place in the lineage leading up to the armored units of today.It's all good as far as I am concerned.Even if I am not a complete aircraft Geek-I'm sure there will be something to appreciate,and something to learn from-scratch building techniques-painting techniques-that I can learn from.
My only concern would be that the main emphisis of the site would remain with armor.I think the occaisional "show us what else you build"
submissions are good and healthy for the site and the hobby in general.
I am sure someday we will see the briliantly done offering of "Imperial Godzilla Dragoons rout Napoleon at Gettysburg 3580 A.D." complete with phaser canon and Anti- Gravity Hoplite Marines,collaboratively submitted by supermodelers Cindy Crawford , Tyra Banks and Mike Bedard.
