Far be it for a novice like me to query a legend like you, Jim- but I find it incredible, [even with your vast knowledge and experience of your subject], that you actually built and painted that Firefly in 40 hours to the level that you did!
I followed your blog religiously, which stretched from the beginning of December until mid April, [some 18 weeks] which would mean you worked on it for only an average of just over two hours per week for a 40 hour total.
Perhaps you were working on other builds simultaneously?
But even so there were around 30-35chapter/stages- can each chapter/stage really have only took on average little more than an hour, Jim?
Please don't take this as a attack on your integrity- but mere mortals like me find it even more disheartening that you built such a good model in as little time as you say.
