Steve,

A couple of points:

1. There's a difference between 'legend' and 'ancient'. I'll go with the latter.

2. While the blog went on until April, I actually completed the model in January.

3. I definitely worked on many other projects at the same time.

4. 40 hours is about right. The Tasca kit required little exra work so the construction phase was quite short. Remember, I used the Tasca vinyl tracks which was a huge time saver.

5. The chapters in the blog do not represent even time intervals. They were set up to illustrate different events. Some of the chapters took only minutes (such as the one on blending) which offset the extra time needed on some of the more complicated chapter like those on construction.

6. The 40 hours is only for the tank and the figure. The base and the Flak 38 are not included in that number.
