You know Paul, for months now I've been thinking of posting the same question. You beat me too it!
It takes me anywhere from a few days to several weeks to complete a modeling project. If I can focus intently, I can finish a kit in a few days. Sometimes it'll take me a few weeks, usually because I have my laptop on the table next to me and I'm playing poker online while I'm building my kit or like you, watching TV at the same time.
