After reading Paul's review about the Marder III H and the issues he has with fenders, it got me thinking, and I know I'm going to get my head handed to me on a platter for this one, but I'm thinking......

"Photo-etched parts, what's the point!" I can see where Paul is coming from regarding fender thickness, and the ability to bend and shape them, but after my recent fiascos with photo-etched parts I can take them or leave. If you bend them too much and they break, your screwed. Solder them back together? Yeah right!

Alright, I can see photo-etched metal fenders, but anything else to me would be a wasted effort. Realism? Ok, I'll give you that, to a certain point.

Maybe I feel this way because I consider myself an intermediate and it's just too much work and patience!
