Paul,

I currently use sandwich boxes such as Glad, etc., for current projects which allows me to readily see what I've started and what my current progress is on a given kit. For the spare parts situation you mentioned, perhaps the 8 1/2 x 11 manila clasped envelopes may save you some room? You can keep all spare parts from each of the kits in the separate envelopes along with placing the instructions inside just in case some TLer needs a copy or a scan. You can write on the outside of the envelope what kit the spare parts are from. That way you may be able to place the envelopes in a cardboard box or a filing cabinet. Perhaps a piece of different colored tape can be used for each nationality. Then it's a matter of looking on the outside of the envelope to determine what nationality vehicle you are looking at and then review what you've written on the outside of the envelope.

Cheers,

chuck w
