I use three sets similar to Brian's link.
I organize not only spare parts, but also paints, tools, putties, sandpaper and sticks, excess PE--the list goes on. I built shelves around the three units, so they are tucked neatly (somewhat) at the back of my modeling desk.
As far as organizing the spare parts, I have enough boxes that I can label them as "Panther", "Sherman", "Tiger I", etc. If I need a second box for one type, then I just put a box in the neighboring slot labeled "Tiger I, Box 2" as an example.
Works for me, may not work for others.
My two schillings,
Matt |
