You need to be careful comparing kits-to-kits as a judge of accuracy. Very
careful.

TM 31-200, 20 April 1942, figure 73 (MD tire.jpg). As you can see, the
"round shoulder" or Military Desert tread design did exist during the War
years, but it was less common than the directional or Mud and Snow designs.
In any case, I believe you'd be more likely to see Truck and Bus tires on
field artillery than one of the high traction designs.

of six hole rims of any size during the War does not prove that they were
fitted to the carriages in question, however.
