Hi,

not an easy question! First of all I enjoy MM. It gives me the chance of recreate, calm down from everydays stress... For me it's the process more than the result.

But there are some aspects, that let me shake my head: The sympathy (not to say more!) with everything german (WWII related), highly speculative "what if" stuff, guys "playing war" etc.. To me, often the statement of "building history" is more an excuse! I myself paused MM for several years, beeing disgusted by those aspects. Not to be misunderstood: I like a superb build Panther-tank, no doubt, but hate people writing "Altough those teething problems the Panther was technically and in combat-value superiour to the T-34, UNFORTUNATLY not in production numbers" (qouted from germanys best known (at least by that time) modelling magazin Modellfan 6/89, highlighted by me).

That's because I'm glad that our hobby is discussed controverse by many people, instead of euphoric agreement by folks that are military (at least!) obessed. Some of you may call that "political correctness", I don't mind...

Best wishes

Volker
