Bruce, I understand your reasoning but on eBay Germany, the only way to win good photos is to sniper as there are several snipers there that will adjust their bid to the current. I was once leading an auction for over $300 US and felt I would win but lost out last seconds. If I bid the same money on a sniper bid and the price was at the much lower amount I would have a better chance of wining.
Also, Auction Fever hits many, including myself at times.
