Hi Paul

I know what you mean!
This summer we got a new puppy. House-training put an end to my normal summer productivity.

I'm a professor, and from September to June I'm pretty busy. I get in a couple of hours a week usually during the school year. SWMBO, the dogs and chores around the house get my attention in the evenings, as does last minute class prep!! And when I'm whacked out from work I often surf the web rather than getting hobby stuff done.

I have many projects going at once to suit my mood of the moment. Sometimes I feel more like building, others painting, other times working on fine details, and once and a while making a base really suits me.

When we get a week off (between each quarter) I tend to get more hobby time in, but that's also a time for us to get away, do house repairs etc.

I may end up getting in 2 or 3 hours in an average week. Getting a stretch of more than 2 hours straight happens very rarely.

Cheers
Andy
