It's because the material (Spanish articles) is SO OLD. At the time the only
Sherman kits widely available were Nichimo's awful M4A1, Italeri's M4A1, M4A3
(sold as an M4A2 Jumbo (????) ), M32, M36 and Tamiya's M4A3 and M4A3E2.
Aftermarket hulls were available from MAC, KK Castings and Verlinden.
This reminds us we live in a golden age for Sherman modellers (although we still
need an early or mid-production M4A2 in plastic, hopefully Italeri will cater
for the late M4A2 soon...).
Cheers,
Christophe |
