I've been a member of TL for the past few years and it has helped me a great deal with my modeling and made my modeling experiences that much more enjoyable. But the one thing I don't like seeing is how some people get too emotional, or even combative about it, and before you know it, a flame war out breaks because two people, two people who are trying to help me, have a difference of opinion.

A few days ago I needed some help with a kit I'm working on (M48A3) and it almost turned into a full fledged flame-war. Granted, everybody has their own opinions or personal knowledge and experience about certain things, but isn't part of the idea of this site is to help other members in their quest for the "perfect", well, maybe not perfect, but a great model? So is there a need for us to get emotional about it.

I'm not bashing the members involved, I appreciate their help and others here at TL. It's just hobby, and hobbies are supposed to be fun, right? So why fight about it.
