You seem to be clouding the issue by involving semantics while my point was directed soley to those who seem to be critical for the sake of being just that...Critical. It is not a difficult thing to understand. When a poster has a habit of being critical each time he responds to a model in the gallery it becomes obvious that this poster's mission is to ONLY point out the bad, or incorrect things about a build. Hence, his criticism seems to be more of a "Gotcha" rather than positve advice to correct something that may be incorrect.
Why would anyone desire this kind of criticism of their build?
I've even seen this happen with young kids that are just starting out in the hobby and I'm sure it leaves them hurt and discouraged.
This is the kind of person that I was referring to and not to the people that may fit into the other definitions that Webster provides.

Lastly, I would like to point out that often too many critics take themselves and this hobby too seriously. It leaves me wondering what kind of life they lead when they worry about a model having 18 nuts when it is suppose to have 24. If a Modeler wants to worry about that then more power to them. The problem is often these modelers or critics will want to hammer on someone that doesn't worry about it and that is just ridiculous.
Give me an incorrect, well built, finished and realistic model over one that has an angle corrected that was .5 degrees off and is finshed poorly.
In the end, this hobby is visual. It's not about engineering and being historically accurate.
