| Subject: | New format for all reviews? | |
| Date: | Nov 4, 2001 |

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if anyone ever thought of making the reviews easier to write
and use by having a quick battery of questions in a box that the reader can
see facts in. This also helps new reviewers since all the need to do is
answer some questions and the review is mostly written. All that would be
needed is an opinion plus more details on what was already answered.
For example, in a book review, a quick view box could answer the following
instead of hunting it down in the text;
color photos
B & W photos
scale plans
line drawings
color plates
vehicle history
operational history
value to modelers *
*some books are great but of limited use to modelers
These extra questions would lead to far quicker reviews being written, facts
presented instead of only opinions, and yet offer some recommended books
that are excellent for combat history but not for modeling. Newbies to
reviews will also know what to touch in detail in the body of the text.
Even if nothing is written in the body, the most pertinent facts are already
offered.
What do you guys think? |
