Roy you are spot on :). Wish I had two kits for every time I failed to correctly construct a model.
I "flubbed" up building Tristar's beautiful little Pkw I where the mud gaurds meet at the front of the hull. What looked like "flash" turned out to not be :). After reconstructing the missing super-fine sections with plastic stock I was able to carry on. I should have come on here first and wangled a couple of free-bees :).
I'm not shooting David but I do think if you have a fault (no test fitting?) then learn from it.
BTW is someone from DML going to replace kits that are constructed incorrectly due to wrong part numbers in the instructions?
Venting ends, returning to dark corner of the internet where I hang-out.
