I suppose someone could market a set of springs that could fit over plastic or metal rods that would work...

Not sure of the demand though. The running gear was just the first problem I had with that kit. The tracks put me over the edge...

What I really hate is how dry-fitting can lull me into a sense of security, and then gremlins make the proportions of one part change so when I get to the final fit stage (on a figure usually, after painting an intricate part occluded by said part) there's no way to get it together without a drill, putty and epoxy.

It's a hobby...
