I'm currently working on three projects, all custom kitbash.
* US Army kitbashed (Merkava 3) hovertank (since someone asked if I was
going to do one after I posted my US Marine (Leopard 2A5) hovertank on
StarshipModeler). I just started this project and it'll be more powerful
than the Marine hovertank.
* My dream project: eight kitbashed DML 1/35 SEALs---all kneeling and one
prone. Five have guns raised to their eyeballs, one is prone, one pointing
squad leader, and one RTO on the phone. All custom kitbashed poses. I
have: three M4s with M203s, one M4, two M14s and two M60E3s. They're nearly
finished and are pretty accurate according to SEAL SOP. (I used about eight
DML figure kits in the kitbash so these eight SEALs aren't cheap but I did
fulfill my dream).
* So far, six custom DML 1/35 figure kitbashes using a total of a dozen
modern DML figure kits to choose from (yes, I have that many DML figure
kits). These will be solo figures and not in any squad. So far: one
kneeling SAW PIP gunner with gun to eyeball, one "Enduring Freedom" USMC
Desert BDU standing guard with M4/M203, one USMC woodland BDU holding M240
(L7A2) or M-16A2/M203, one US SOF holding M4 and talking on the mike, one
"bald head" US SOF holding M4 and ready to toss flash-bang. Planned: one
sniper in ghille suit holding M82A1 .50cal, one stooping USMC sniper holding
M40, and one US SOF holding HK MSG-90. Maybe one more figure holding a
pump-action shotgun with pistol grip.
======================
* And I sawed off some pouring blocks from various VLS military and recasted
resin anime figures and glued on some limbs but no major constructions here
yet.
======================
I also did a little construction on my DML USMC M1A1. I built the DML M1A2
years ago and somehow this USMC M1A1 requires more care than the DML M1A2.
I wasn't in the mood so I put the USMC M1A1 back into the closet and started
the USA hovertank instead.
Good to see TL back online :-)!
