Hi...

So far, the only thing built is one half-constructed Panther tank for the assembly line...basically just a hull without external fittings. I am still planning how many vehicles to depict...the factory floor photos I have found show a double row with both standard Panthers and some JagdPanthers, so I hope to build somewhere around 15-20 vehicles in various stages of construction.

The biggest problem I have encountered is the construction of the large machine tools. They must be totally scratchbuilt and the available photos are few. I have made one attempt on the turret race milling machine with not a lot to show for my efforts, other than some wasted sheet styrene. I believe the better way to proceed is to build the structure out of card stock (at least as a prototype).

The drawings I have sketched out for the modular desgn of the diorama promise that it will be quite large.

No digital camera, so no pictures, anyway. Sorry...
