Subject:  Re: Worthington Park Hetzer restoration, any news?List thread.

Hi Geoff:

As I understand it, the person in charge of the restoration, a German WWII vet, died at around that time. The Hetzer restoration (which was intended to return the vehicle to running condition) then stalled, and eventually the vehicle was put back together and is now back on outdoor display. A pity, since some very nice work had been done to the interior. As the other poster said, it's back in dark gray paint sitting in Worthington Park again. The biggest visible difference from before is that the main gun, which had been jammed in recoil, is now forward again.

Cheers,

Scott
