Like others here, I strongly disagree with your statement. I am convinced that Academy is getting the treatment it deserves. Sure, they've made a couple of "Big Bang" kits, like the M12, but all of the follow-up Sherman-based kits - except the Marines Sherman - have major, inexcusable issues!

In this day and age, I cannot for the life of me understand how a supposedly "world-class" model manufacturer can repeat the mistake Italeri made over 30 years ago with the "step" in the barrel of their 76mm Sherman kit! Or how they can mess up ALL the angles on a vehicle such as the M10. And failing to put the corrected M3 suspension in their new Grant kit is pure disrespect for modelers!

Aside for the M12 and their M113 series, most of their kits are mostly useful as sources of spare parts!
