I must diagree agree with what you wrote about the Dragon Panzer IVE. Yes Dragon did correct it with their Vorpanzer but that did nothing for those of us who bought the original. If Dragon had offered an update set, even for sale, then I'd feel very differently. My update path was to buy the Cyber-Hobby Panzer IVF, take a few parts out of the Panzer IVE (interior mainly) and give the kit to a friend who can't afford to buy many kits and therefore is thrilled to have anything to work on.

So I do take issue with Dragon on that one, especially after all of the hype.

As for Tamiya, my only complaint is that they still charge top dollar for ancient kits and routinely throw in a couple of new figures (or old ones from another set) and put the kits on the shelf next to their new releases. The unsuspecting modeler has no way to know one kit is 30 years old and the other is a 2 years old.

I do stand by my issue with the AFV Club M5. That's an issue noted in their previous Stuart releases and they could have easily added the backs to one of the new sprues. As a case in point both Dragon and Academy did exactly that on their Shermans. Don't get me wrong, it's not the same as what Academy did on their M3 Grant by not including already made new suspension housings. That was just flat out inexcusable.
