I am of the opinion that when dealing with cast items there are great variations. The RAAC Museum has two grants sitting side by side and both turret castings are slightly diffrent. From looking at photos I have seen quite a bit of small variance. It depends on what the refrence was. Many a time a picture has turned up to show what was accepted fact is actually wrong. Australias sole M4A2 has a one piece glacis plate (they don't exist according to some of the subject matter experts. The fact that Welded and Cast shermans shall never meet is also false as said A2 has some cast parts and some welded parts.
Academy could have had a winner with so little effort but chose a route of absolute stupidity. I can't show any respect for an act like that!
