| I used to get and read magazines regularly. I had subscriptions to Fine Scale Modeling, then MMIR, and I would pick up issues of Tamiya Modeling Mag. at my LHS. I stopped the Fine Scale because I felt I was paying to much for a mag that was becoming more than half devoted to areas that were of no interest to me( science fiction,cars,etc.) and I stopped MMIR when it bacame a once every 18-24 month per issue magazine. I haven't bought an issue of Tamiya mag for quite a while because I can get so much now from the internet. If I want specific material, I also like the Concord soft cover book/magazines. For me at about $10 I feel I get a good amount of research photos from them. |
