Glenn,

I suscribed to Military Modeller from 1987 until it went out of business. I beleive the first article I red from you was on an Italian M40/75. I also received FSM for 15 years, but I do not purchase it anymore since they have the bad tendency to recycle their stuff every 3-4 years (their airbrusing articles are a good exemple, they do not even update their photos from the '80s).

Since I am a French Canadian (BTW sorry for my spelling mistakes), I suscribe to Steel Masters. IMHO, it is one of the best on the market. I am living in Europe since 2001, so I used to buy a lot of European mags (Euromodelismo, AFV, Steel art, Xtreme...). Something that I do not like with the European mags is the fact that when a well known modeller is writing an article, say in spanish, it will then be translated over the following months into English, French, Italian. So basically 1 paper can be published for 3 to 4 times over a year. So that is the reason I prefer to suscribe to Steel Master, since I know that they normally published the works of the good modellers (or I should say the ones that are trendy for a certain period of time).

I am once in a while buying the PDF version of some of the articles printed in AFV. I like the Osprey modelling serie, since the works in theses books are quite interesting and are not normally reprinted in other books or magazines. I also received MIS, which is I beleive a good magazine on plastic modelling (yes I have some aircrafts in my personnal hobby shop.)

I am looking at the net on a daily basis (mainly PMMS and TL). I started in the hobby in 1982, and I beleived that the net is the most important revolution we lived over the last decade.

Regards

Eric
