Naturally I prefer the Internet. It is a superior medium, obviously. One can ask the modeller _directly_ and in real time about the models posted and get a personal answer. The reviews, product announcements, industry news, etc. is always current. Magazines can't possibly compete with this.

I haven't bought a magazine since 2006, it was a copy of AFV Modeller with an article by Dave Parker on the T-34 and Sd.Kfz.221. I bought it because I was interested in his weathering style.

There seems to be quite a few modellers like Parker who's work only appears in magazines, at least I don't ever recall seeing any of his work on-line. He is one of my favourite modellers by-the-way.

I am a member of AMPS and get Boresight, I didn't join for the magazines however and I usually don't read the articles because the subject are not in my line of interests.

I do collect the old Military Modeler magazines from the '70s and '80s.

I used to have a subscription to Military Modelling (UK) but stopped a few years ago.

Paul.
