I've had the opportunity to see several museums both in the U.S. and several around Europe. Of the one's I've been to I really liked the Military Technical Museum in Koblenz, Germany and the Bundeswehr Museum in Munster, Germany.

Munster has some excellent, realistically restored German armor that really looks like they could have just come off the line in WW II. They had a great looking Kingtiger, Panther (both in ambush scheme), 251/7 half-track, and much much more. Just top quality vehicles.

In Koblenz, it is a working museum and the displays change often. I used to visit the Koblenz museum every couple of weeks and really had plenty of opportunities to get detail photos and see many different pieces come through. I first saw the Sturmtiger (and actually had the opportunity crawl inside it) back in the early 1990's and I have been back several times since during travels through Europe.. They also had a wonderful example of a Panther and Stug III with zimmert.

If anyone has the change to visit either of them I recommend it.

Al
