What works best for me is to use a spray bottel of water and spray a mist over the top of the model, the dust will flow off with the water.
Or you can fill your air brush bottle with water.
While it is wet ,you can use a paint brush as a mop. Of corse... this might not work with loose pigmets or other non water-proof items.
I keep all of my models in my garage where bugs poop all over them and make them their home. So I build my models knowing that I will need to clean them someday.
