"Most absurd example? Years ago after the Kuwait War when the F-117 was brand new, they had one at the Wings Over Houston air show. Roped off with MPs ostentatiously walking guard, and big signs that you would be shot if you took crossed the rope or took unauthorized photos."

We had something similar at an airshow at Willow Grove PA. The F117 was cordoned off, with armed guards around it. The only problem?

The M16s were not loaded...
