I'm not bashing ducks or anything but wanted to reverse your story kind of.
While I grew up on those 70's kits, loved them at the time and they were the only thing I had that was a tank, a real model of a Panzer IV.
As time grew and I got older the trip to Aberdeen Proving Grounds tank museum became possible. The first thing I noticed was all of the problems on the real tanks! They did not look right compared to the models I've known all of those years.
I know, lame story but a true one.
What I see from this hobby is different strokes for different folks. Some like the ducks while others want eagles. |
