Mmmmmmmmm, can of worms opened up again?
How about if you know it’s not a duck then no matter how much an infamous builder/author tells you it’s as good as a duck just don’t cut it?

When the Tamiya Tiger I turret was pointed out as wrong due to it being symmetrical I couldn’t look at one of my built kits without seeing it AND once the new asymmetrical turrets came out it got even more noticeable.

I’d say there is a group of discerning kit builders and without them we would just be a group of indiscriminant builders [god knows they spend the most time bitching about when is the next M4 coming out :>)].
I really like to see things pointed out by those way more clever than me and I only ever get miffed once the “indiscriminate” start attacking.

BTW, a 30 year old car is no good because, mainly, it’s 30 year old.
Marketing companies with massive budgets spend all their time telling you why you need this years model car over the last one and we all know it’ll be a piece of junk in 10 anyway so why not give us a $3500, 5.7L, 2 door Coupe built today [F the air bags, go hard or go home].

Steve
[thanks for being discerning Brian]
