I think the first 3 kits I was exposed to was a Revellogam F-5 "Freedom Fighter" (which my dad assembled for me...I think it was in 1/48 scale) and 2 snap tites of an A-10 and an F-18 in prototype markings. From there I graduated to Hasegawa planes and 1/72 armor, and eventually to 1/35 scale armor. I remember a neighbour bought me an Italeri M-24 Chafee (in a yellow testors box) and that may have been the beginning of 1/35 armor for me. I also remember weasling a 1/35 scale Tamiya Jagdtiger when I was 13 after my car accident. I never really stopped modelling, and still do it today.

The F-5 however was ill-fated. It disintegrated when it was hit by a Nerf football...
