Subject:  What DID DML do to Tamiya?List thread.

 Date:  Jun 1, 2008
 From:  Saul Garcia
Since I have a few Remote Control vehicles, I do not see what DML supposedly did to Tamiya... Tamiya is still in business and a strong leader in its field (RC). Their plastic kits division is still what it was for many years, release what they want and if need be, shake up the status quo (as in pushing 1/48th scale).

I agree that UML are exposing themselves but some will buy their products regardless. Remember that this forum, the MDFC, is private and the members limited. We only read about these shenanigans whenever an MDFC member is outraged enough to send the text to others.

My hope is that UML sees the release of this information as an embarrassment and shuts down the MDFC in order to save face.

Regards,
Saśl
