| I build Armor and I like to paint figures. Back in the late 80's I stopped building armor and learned the art of figure painting. I notice that Armor modelers like figure painting and vice versa. I don't see the trend with say car modelers, ship and plane. I would assume that since infantry and armor fought together making the interest. I always loved the old Ron Valstad color paintings and the new ones too. It seemed like his early Squadron book paintings along with the Osprey Men at Arms books really appeal to armor guys like me. Does this seem that way to you also? Do you like figure painting too? |
