Hiya Mike,
I know exactly how you feel. I have many of those old treasures that I can't seem to part with.One of the first things I usually do with a new kit is see what extra parts are on the sprues and decide if they will be usefull to any of my oldies. When I find such pieces I usually put them in the box of such said kit.I infact have many old kits that I already have accumalated many aftermarket extras for to bring upto date . I have often thought of selling them but just can't seem to bring my heart to getting rid of them.Take care Mike and happy modeling.
