To me, most phases of building a very detailed model have their pitfalls. However, applying decals or dry transfers is one of the most fun because at the end of that particular modelling session, you've radically altered your project for the better.
I just decalled a commission job today. Now I can see the end of the tunnel!
I'm pretty handy w/decals because of my extensive background in aircraft (where it's modelling 101, along with the car guys). Don't know why so many armor builders struggle with this aspect, frankly. |
